Does it cost anything?

At Olympia Singles membership is free, however all of our events will have a participation fee, kind of like a cover charge, that will be used to cover the costs associated with an event. The participation fee will vary based on the event for example our mixers will generally have a small fee ($5 - $10) whereas whitewater rafting or whale watching will be more.

What type of people attend these events?

People just like you. Our members are generally educated professionals looking for another way to meet people. Our members range in age from 21 to 50 although most of the members tend to be younger (23 - 35). Different events attract different people, we suggest you start with one of our mixers as an introduction to the group.

What type of events are offered?

We try to provide something for everyone. There are cocktail parties, dinner outings, wine tasting's, museum outings, theatre, networking events, brunches, movie nights, ski trips, brunches, art walks, yoga classes, theme parties (Mardi Gras, Halloween and New Year's Eve) and cooking classes. Most of the time the events are open to everyone. Occasionally, an event will have a targeted group: Girls' Brunch, 20 something's, etc. We are always looking for new fun things to do, if you have a suggestion let us know.

Where do most of the members live?

Most of our members live in and around the Olympia area, Lacey, Tumwater, Shelton, Dupont, Tenino, Yelm. However we also have many members that work in Olympia but live in Tacoma, Federal Way, Centralia and around puget sound.
